Charles Dodgson - a problematic Pre-Rapaehlite photographer

Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898), best known as Lewis Carrol , author of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the looking glass, and what Alice found there (Carroll 1866 & 1872), was also a pioneer photographer and member of the Pre-Raphaelite group of artists during the mid 1800s (Ovenden 1972, British Council 1982, Bartram 1983).
